Summer is here, so is the heat, and so are the bikinis and TANS! Absolutely gorgeous! Sunless beautiful looking tan. I don't know if any of you have this problem but my body has different colors all over and Although I have olive skin and tan very easily for some unknown reason my face is always brighter then the rest of me. What a drag! thank the Lord for Airbrush Tanning for "Ghost Face" like me. I get an all over body spray tan to look good in my bathing suit :=)
The solution used in these products is a safe and effective chemical known as DHA (Di-hydroxy-acetone). The FDA approved DHA (a derivative of sugar cane or sugar beets). The DHA adheres to the dead skin cells on the top layer of your skin, and will remain until your skin exfoliates. The DHA reacts with your skin to produce a 'coloring' effect that will give you a tan look.
So, with Airbrush Tanning I don't need to get a Sun Tan and MELANOMA, or the bacteria prone tanning beds. Not my thing. At last no more ultraviolet radiation!!!!! Yes, I was one of those who would lay in the sun like a lizard and of course now i'm afraid to look like one. So big hurray for Airbrush Tans! I can go light during the winter moths and darker in the summer. I think I'm addicted, I get my fake tan done once every 10 days, you know to keep the tan and touch up of course to keep it looking fresh.
Alert! there are a few things you need to know to keep the fake and loving tan from dissapearing. Make sure previous to getting the tan that you don't wear any make up or any sort of lotion on your skin as this can affect the tanning solution from sticking to your body. Please do shower since you should not shower after getting the tan for at least 6 hours (better if you shower the next day).
Don't forget that our skin sheds constantly so in order to get the most of your tan you MUST get your skin exfoliated which can be done with a body scrub from Lalicious, my favorite scent Tahitian....mmm smells like Hawaiian Islands. There are other scents as well if you have a sweet tooth there is Brown Sugar Vanilla, if you love fruit you can also have Lily Mango or Coconut.
